An ECG technician, also called as cardiograph technician, uses electrocardiogram machines to run diagnostic tests to measure a patient???s heart rate, monitor cardiac rhythm.
These days, there is a great shortage of E.C.G. technicians as the incidence of hypertension and heart disease has considerably increased. Hence, Electro Cardiograph technicians are required in every private clinic where cardiologists or physician are practicing. E.C.G. allows physicians to immediately refer such patients to a cardiologist, thus saving lives.
The E.C.G. technology course is intended to produce trained and skilled E.C.G. technician???s independent practice is possible with low infrastructure cost. The course provides a wide scope for employment opportunities in India and Overseas.
